Venkatesh Subramanian
Venkatesh Subramanian is the founding and managing partner of Unique Value Networks which he founded along with a group of colleagues to create a radically new way of consulting to clients and a new way working for experienced people.
Venkatesh has over 20 years of experience working in diverse assignments ranging from software development to running and managing large transformation programs to providing niche and high value added consulting to developing multi million dollar businesses. He has deep insights into the working of many sectors of the banking and financial services industry.
Some of his key assignments include:
- Software development for a large European central securities depository
- Running a market transformation program in India to computerise and automate the post trade activities in the Indian capital markets
- Running a transformation program to create a world wide post trade information flow and matching system
- Running a program to standardise the private banking operations of a leading European bank across 13 worldwide locations
- Consulting many European banks on their post merger integration and regulatory compliance programs post the 2008 economic crisis
Within Unique Value Networks Venkatesh ensures that all the consulting offerings match up to the principles and the high standards the network has set for itself and manages and coordinates all the activities of knowledge management portal and network.
Venkatesh holds a Bachelor of Technology from the prestigious, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He is also a member of the Insttitute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and an alumni of Tata Consultancy Services.
Outside of his professional life, Venkatesh is marathon runner having run many marathons in Paris, Nice, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, London and Chennai. He is an avid bridge player. He likes travelling, visiting new people, places and cultures and has widely traveled across the world. He lives in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg with his wife and two children.
