Values

The following are the core values by which the entire network functions and defines all its interactions.

Talent

Talent is the fundamental virtue that every one in the network must have and is most carefully applied to every individual who joins the network. It is also the fundamental value by which the network defines itself to our clients. Talent for us represents:

  • an end to end (i.e, clients to profits) understanding of one or more technology or business domains
  • a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and often being recognised as a well known expert in their chosen area of specialisation
  • a deep understanding of the business environment in many countries, geographies and cultures

Finally, the most important talent of all is the ability of our members to learn new concepts quickly and apply them to relevant contexts in their areas of specialisation.

Independence

Independence coupled with talent creates powerful outcomes for our clients. For us independence means:

  • financial independence of our members
  • an ability to define, articulate and demonstrate value to the business based on an unbiased reading of the market environment and client situation
  • an ability to stop or alter the course of any our engagement when the right level of value is not created within that engagement

Team (net-)work

We glue the talented and independent members of our network with this most important value which we call team (net-)work. Team work for us means:

  • a clear understanding of one’s abilities and much more importantly one’s limitations
  • an ability to network with a diverse set of experts by keeping in touch, meaningfully contributing where possible and knowing how to optimally tap into the network’s vast talent
  • an ability to convert an individual expertise and the wider network’s expertise into tangible value adding outputs to specific client situations
